http://www.casinoaffiliateebook.com/2013/11/29/all-eyes-on-the-new-jersey-partypoker-com-50k-guaranteed-this-sunday/The first weekend of legal online poker in New Jersey has arrived. And with it, so has the largest online poker tournament the Garden State has seen since Black Friday in 2011.
This Sunday at 7:30 P.M. EST all eyes will be on NJ.PartyPoker.com as New JerseyÂs largest online poker site kicks off their first ÂSunday MajorÂ. With a $ 200 buy-in, this tournament offers a jaw dropping $ 50,000 Guaranteed prize pool.
Both poker players and poker media will be following this tournament with great interest. Will there be an overlay? Will a New Jersey amateur get lucky and win this first Sunday Major? In less than two days we will have our answer.
And one thing is certain; with only 13 players registered on Friday afternoon, the value for online poker players in New Jersey could be epic. While satellites are currently running for as little as $ 5, the tournament will still require a fair amount of players in New Jersey willing to pony up the $ 200 buy-in. In simple terms, Party Poker needs at least 250 players to participate in this the tournament in order to not have an overlay.
In a statement earlier this week about this historic tournament, Mike Sexton said:
“Party Poker is posting the $ 50k Guaranteed this weekend and we are sure you will not find better value anywhere else this weekend. It is hard to forecast how many players will take part – if it isn’t very many the chances to win are going to be even better. We are boldly sticking our neck out, and saying to our players, Happy Thanksgiving!”
And a very Happy Thanksgiving it could be for one lucky player Sunday night with a guaranteed first place prize of over $ 12,500. In addition to pocketing a nice payday, one player is also going to forever be able to state that they were the first player to win the Party Poker New Jersey $ 50k.
And if this is not enough, on February 1st, Party Poker is going to be crowning someone as New JerseyÂs next poker millionaire. In this larger-than-life tournament for New Jersey players, Party Poker will be hosting qualifiers for a final table of 8 players that will compete for a first place prize of $ 1,000,000!
Less than a week into the New Jersey regulated online poker market, Party Poker has already established itself as the clear market leader. While liquidity may prove to be a problem for some operators, NJ.PartyPoker.com has plenty of action. With initial 24-hour peak numbers of 400 players, industry analysts fully expect NJ.PartyPoker.com to continue leading the charge in the New Jersey online poker market.

The Within Scoop - Gambling Affiliates Locate On their own in a Keeping Pattern in NJ
http://www.casinoaffiliateebook.com/2013/11/27/the-within-scoop-gambling-affiliates-locate-on-their-own-in-a-keeping-pattern-in-nj/Editor Observe: Jeremy Enke is an industry veteran most properly recognized for his publications as nicely as his market accomplishments. Jeremy also sales opportunities the group at Poker Affiliate Listings. Jeremy writes a weekly characteristic for Poker Affiliate Options on the quick-transferring developments in the regulated U.S. on-line poker marketplace.
This 7 days has certainly been a historic 7 days in the United Said on the internet gambling industry. As of nowadays, the New Jersey controlled on the internet gambling industry is no lengthier in a trial time period, and formally open up for enterprise.
In a conference call on Monday, DGE director David Rebuck created the announcement that the gentle period of time experienced concluded, and that 6 out of the seven casinos using portion in it experienced been accredited.
Still left off the list was Golden Nugget for what we at The Inside Scoop had been advised was Âpaperwork concerns. At this time, Golden Nugget stays in testing method. Insiders at the Golden Nugget have assured us however that the internet sites must be approved and live inside of the up coming week, and that it was their determination to more delay heading dwell.
How Was The Overall Delicate Period of time In New Jersey?
The preliminary night of the gentle period of time was a minor shaky with some brands possessing connectivity and a number of geo-spot troubles. By the time day 2 rolled around though, most makes appeared to be in clean sailing manner.
For all the conjecture foremost up to the delicate period of time in New Jersey, market operators should be recommended for not only a smooth trial period, but also for the extraordinary communications they exhibited with the two players and poker media.
So Now That The New Jersey Industry Is Open up, What are The Controlled Web sites?
Apart from the Âaffiliate landscapeÂ, a single of the best unknowns major up to the gentle period in New Jersey was basically, what are the Âbrands going to be?

Nj.on line casino.GoldenNuggetCasino.comHave Any Operators Released Affiliate Applications But? How Can I Grow to be a New Jersey Gambling Affiliate?
Even though the all round New Jersey regulated on the web gambling market is without a doubt open up for company, the gambling affiliate plans continue to be in considerably of an uncertain holding pattern.
The good news for viewers of The Within Scoop nevertheless is that we have been in continual interaction with every single of these operators, and new details concerning affiliate advertising and marketing in the sector is being unveiled every day. So below is what we do know.
Every single operator at present licensed in New Jersey has total intentions of leveraging affiliate advertising and marketing to a certain diploma. Some operators this kind of as Borgata Poker might much more aggressively use the affiliate marketing and advertising design, while operators like WSOP may possibly rather leverage their present poker brand name recognition. The good information however is that every single operator sees the worth in affiliate advertising, and yet again, will be incorporating it into their all round strategy.
Because the starting of this journey, the DGE has constantly stood firmly against regulated operators sharing any income details with third events such as affiliate marketers or other advertising and marketing companions. Most operators and affiliates totally predicted that this intended we would be searching at only CPA designs. Earnings sharing has never genuinely been a level of dialogue until finally recently.
Major up to the Âgo live instant over the previous handful of times however, there have been a number of conflicting reports on what are acceptable affiliate marketing methods, and what are not.
So the answer to the issue is, no. While the affiliate applications may be completely ready to be released, everyone is nevertheless awaiting on the wonderful print and further guidelines from the DGE and their own lawful counsel.
IÂm a Gambling Affiliate Will I Need an Ancillary CSIE License, a Distributors Allow, or a Transactional Waiver?
If you prepare on selling delivers right from the operators, you will far more than most likely need to fill out a seller registration disclosure sort, at a least. This is really simple to do, free, and basically gives you a vendorÂs registration number in the point out.
You can discover this form here
Rumors flying around these days even so have been stating that any affiliate wishing to promote on ANY sort of incentivized offer you these kinds of as CPA or profits share will need a full Ancillary CSIE License. ←– On top of a fair quantity of disclosure, these also expense $ 2000 to safe.
This is primarily the same licensure that a total-fledged junket gambling operator demands. Seems like a bit of overkill in my opinion. Also, I donÂt foresee a medium sized affiliate having to pay $ 2000 and disclosing personalized records to the federal government for the privilege of marketing on-line gaming within one particular stateÂs borders.
While at this position it might not make sense for a modest or medium sized affiliate to go by way of this full approach, if you so desire, you want to fill out varieties 30A, 31A, 32A, and 36 located clicking here.
So, WhatÂs Up coming For Gambling Affiliate marketers in New Jersey? Sub-Affiliate Versions?
Hurry up and wait! From the operators I have spoken with this week, it is very clear that the regulators at the DGE are great people, but fairly clueless as to what affiliate advertising entails.
Our greatest hope is that over the coming times, operators possessing several years of experience operating with affiliates will be in a position to even more educate the DGE on the partnership in between affiliate marketers and on the internet gambling operators.
It is also well worth mentioning that far more than a number of Âsuper affiliates and community providers are in fact heading through the approach of acquiring an Ancillary CSIE License. Although nobody has a crystal ball, a single has to inquire, is it truly possible for the DGE to need licensure outside of the affiliate and through to the sub-affiliate?
If a master affiliate goes through the licensure method and then chooses to partner with other people, make acquisitions, or be individually liable for where his/her trackers are getting promoted, how can the DGE even avert this?
As I have been suggesting for several months now, the sub-affiliate product can make the most all about feeling for New Jersey. It keeps the affiliate side of the industry controlled, whilst taking away cumbersome burdens for the two operators and the DGE.
New Jersey requiring every affiliate marketer from close to the globe to get an ancillary gaming license to perform with gaming operators would be the equal of demanding any marketer running “Google Adsense” or “Direct Era” for a car dealership on their websites to apply for a New Jersey ancillary car dealers license.
It genuinely can make no perception when you consider of it that way.

6 New Jersey Casinos Get iGaming Go Ahead
Six Atlantic City Casinos got the go-ahead from New Jersey gaming regulators to end their igaming trial period and proceed with full on real-money online gambling. It’s a huge step forward for the Garden State and its bold entry into the regulated igaming market.
The six casinos that were cleared for launch include Trump Plaza Hotel, Borgata Hotel & Spa, Tropicana Casino and Resort, Caesars Interactive Entertainment and their associated partners.
One company that didn’t get the nod was Golden Nugget Atlantic City. In an interview with iGamingBusiness.com, company CEO Tom Pohlman said their launch is being delayed due to site glitches. Pohlman doesn’t necessarily see the delay as a big deal saying:
We’d rather get it right than be embarrassed by something that doesn’t work. This is not a sprint for us; it’s a marathon.
It’s expected that the Golden Nugget’s site should be up and running by the end of the week.
All told, operators and regulators seemed very happy with the five day soft launch/trial period that proceeded today’s official igaming launch. Though a few problems did crop up, most of them were relatively minor.
The most significant issue that’s plagued Jersey operators centers on geolocation software. Specifically, some users near NJ borders were told by sites that they weren’t actually in the state. That’s an in issue that each casino will have to address individually and does not fall on state regulators.
Expect to see a slew of online casino openings in the Garden State in the weeks and months ahead as more sites and their land-based partners get ready for business.

New Jersey Opens iGaming Soft Launch
New Jersey online gambling operators are participating in a soft launch of the country’s newest igaming market that’s spread across 17 different sites.
As one might expect, the early hours of the trial run were marked with a host of technical glitches.
Some end-users reported geolocation errors that kept them from playing, despite their locations deep in the Garden State. (This is separate from NJ resident who live near state lines that are not being recognized as residents.)
Other players are finding that US banks aren’t interested in dealing with online gambling, even in states where it’s perfectly legal. This issue has come up in Nevada as well and will probably come up in Delaware, too.
None these glitches are particularly serious and are exactly what the trial period is designed to ferret out. Delaware ran a similar test run on their system a few weeks back, and the same can be expected from most states that embrace regulated igaming.

iGaming’s Worst Feuds

I'm coming to get you Calvin…
DOJ/Preet Bharara vs Calvin Ayre
US Attorney Preetinder Singh “Preet” Bharara is not a guy who is crazy about online gambling, and he’s definitely not crazy about iGaming’s favorite bad boy, Calvin Ayre.
Over the years, Bharara has elevated his dislike of Ayre to some absolutely Inspector Javert-like levels. Bharara is dead set on bringing Ayre to the US to face illegal gambling charges and has happily confiscated any web domain that’s Ayre-related.
For his part, Ayre has steadily egged Bharara on from his offshore hideouts and online via CalvinAyre.com. Just this week the site ran a prominent article describing, in some detail, how a Federal Judge recently referred to the legal eagle as a, “drama queen.”
Given Ayre’s deep pockets and ability to delay the justice system, we don’t expect this feud to be worked out anytime soon.

The Inside Scoop With The Social gathering About To Start off In NJ, PokerStars Missed The Invite
http://www.casinoaffiliateebook.com/2013/11/13/the-inside-scoop-%c2%96-with-the-social-gathering-about-to-start-off-in-nj-pokerstars-missed-the-invite/Editor Be aware: Jeremy Enke is an industry veteran most nicely known for his publications as properly as his industry accomplishments. Jeremy also qualified prospects the local community at Poker Affiliate Listings. Jeremy writes a weekly function for Poker Affiliate Remedies on the fast-moving developments in the regulated U.S. on the web poker market place.
As every day passes, the much anticipated start of true money gambling in the state of New Jersey inches even closer. Speculated and debated about since even ahead of the UIGEA, in 13 times on Tuesday November 26th, we are last but not least heading to see what the landscape of a big and regulated U.S. on-line gambling marketplace seems to be like.
Doing work in the on the web gambling industry for the previous 10 a long time, I can truthfully say I have never witnessed the powerful feeling of urgency among operators as I have this earlier 7 days. Although predicted, many operators discovered just previous Friday that they had been certainly accepted and awarded gaming licenses.
These operators provided bwin.celebration, Caesars Interactive Enjoyment, and Gamesys. Transactional waivers to run in New Jersey had been also awarded to Betfair, All American Poker Community, SHFL Entertainment, 888, Bally Technologies, GameAccount Network, Ongame, Cadillac Jack, CAMS, and Fertitta Acquisition.
Anyone else notice somebody missing on this listing?
Black Friday (The Sequel) starring PokerStars.com
Whilst previous Friday, a handful of operators gained licenses and transactional waivers, the worldÂs greatest and most recognized on-line poker site (PokerStars.com) was notably still left off the checklist.
This Friday November 15th, the New Jersey Department of Gambling Enforcement (DGE) will concern far more licenses and waivers. Right here at the Inside Scoop, we have place on our sleuth hats and spoken with numerous Âin the know on the matter of Poker Stars and New Jersey.
From our discussions, as properly as other rumors circulating inside the industry, all indications lead to PokerStars.com not being provided a license or waiver this Friday, or anytime just before the New Jersey go live day of November twenty sixth.
Rumors from within the Backyard Condition are that the DGE still has Âunresolved concerns about the 2011 indictment and felony circumstance from Poker Stars founder Ishai Scheinberg. Although looking at the heritage of Poker Stars put up Black Friday, as nicely as their failed acquisition of The Atlantic Club, we at the Inside of Scoop imagine there are a pair causes we will not see Poker Stars in New Jersey anytime before long.
Why Is PokerStars.com Not Being Invited To The New Jersey Party?
The DGEÂs Âunresolved concerns are the politically right conversing factors, particularly contemplating Mr. Scheinberg is presently a prison defendant in a U.S. case. Nevertheless, the American Gaming AssociationÂs lobbying efforts directly against PokerStars.com should not be overlooked either. Common perception tells us that if PokerStars.com is authorized to launch on November twenty sixth in New Jersey, the likelihood of them operating absent with marketplace share from the land primarily based operators and Ârule followers like bwin.get together could be fairly large.
The viewpoint of The Within Scoop is that the only way the doorway to the United States controlled on the web poker market place opens again up for Poker Stars is if both Ishai Scheinberg and his son Mark, listed as the firm CEO, divest their curiosity in the organization. It is not basically a coincidence that Get together Poker founders Ruth Parasol DeLeon and James Russell DeLeon not too long ago divested their holdings in bwin.social gathering.
Some ultimate feelings and predictions on Poker Stars coming into the New Jersey regulated on-line poker market If an announcement comes out in the subsequent few days that the Scheinberg duo are divesting their holdings in Poker Stars, we need to entirely expect to see PokerStars.com in quick New Jersey deployment mode. Until finally then even so, assume November twenty sixth to occur and go with no Poker Stars accepting any lawful bets in New Jersey.
So Who Will Be Leading The On-line Poker Demand In New New Jersey?
When November twenty sixth comes, our sources inside the industry have advised us that whilst we need to count on to see a number of on the internet on line casino homes open for organization, we could only see 2-3 on the web poker web sites in full operation. We will have a a lot greater idea of who these poker internet sites will be when the gentle start interval arrives up coming week. The evident contenders consist of WSOP.com, Ultimate Poker, 888, and Celebration Poker.
Whilst all of these are powerhouse makes, we at the Within Scoop are keeping our sights squarely centered on the staff at PartyPoker.com. LetÂs not overlook, there was a time when PartyPoker.com commanded more than fifty% of the U.S. marketplace share, and generated billions of pounds in earnings from the U.S. Not to mention, Get together Poker has primarily been planning their return again to the U.S. market for the better half of the previous six a long time.
Anticipate to see Party Poker launch again into the U.S. industry in real Grand Fashion. Poker players in New Jersey, you folks are in for a treat.
Study Suggests! Â forty six% of New Jersey Residents Are Unaware That Lawful On the web Gambling Is Coming to New Jersey
In one of the most extensive surveys to day on New Jersey controlled gambling, the group at PAS setout to see what people imagined about this new laws.

five Factors I Want To Be A Gambling Affiliate In New Jersey
And once once more I complete this column off each 7 days with what all these developments imply for affiliate marketers. Even though there is not anything earth shattering to report on the affiliate front of issues this week, I can assure you that affiliate marketing is becoming discussed among operators and will in fact be in area in 2014.
The estimate I was provided these days from one particular operator entering the New Jersey market place in 13 short days was just ÂWe have greater fish to fry correct now than doing work on the exact roll-out of our affiliate system, but donÂt worry, youÂre likely to make a good deal of money when we do. Truthful sufficient! It is really comprehensible nevertheless why affiliate marketing and advertising is not at the forefront of any discussion. These operators truly do have greater fish to fry in the following two weeks.
But with that mentioned, I did publish a site submit yesterday and shared some additional insight and five causes I want to be a gambling affiliate in New Jersey above at the PAL Message boards. Give it a study and feel cost-free to share your comments.
That is all for nowadays, but as constantly, I will go away you with a estimate that is pertinent to individuals of us with years of expertise in the sector, nevertheless diving head first in to this brand new U.S. controlled industry.

Delaware Officially Launches Regulated Online Gambling
Delaware lived up to its, “First State,” slogan last week when it became the first American state to offer a full suite of regulated online gambling to its citizens. It’s a major step for the American-facing industry and the first shot in what is expected to be a long battle for East Coast igaming supremacy.
As of this writing, three Delaware online casinos are open for business and all of them are tied to land-based casinos and racetracks.
The three sites, Delaware Park, Dover Downs and Harrington Raceway, offer a range of casino games including poker, blackjack, slots and roulette.
All of these sites are run on software provided by 888 Holdings and are operated under the authority of the Delaware State lottery. Although some forms of sports betting are legal in the state, that market hasn’t been part of the state’s regulated igaming discussion.
Until New Jersey’s regulated igaming launch later this month, Delaware is the only US State to offer anything more than online poker in its regulated offerings.
The big challenge for Delaware operators is going to be finding enough players to keep their sites active until some sort of interstate gambling compact is arranged. Delaware has fewer than one million residents, which limits how much revenue the new sites will be able to raise.

Any International Gaming Technology (IGT) employee who thought the company’s nearly half billion dollar purchase of DoubleDown Interactive was a bad idea is probably enjoying some nicely prepared crow for lunch today. That’s because the social casino is fueling triple digit revenue growth for the gaming giant.
According to IGT’s Q4 revenue report, as reported in EGR Magazine, DoubleDown is now driving a full 9% of the company’s overall revenue, around $ 219 million. That number represents an amazing 151% growth rate over IGT’s social gaming revenue for Q4 2012.
The DoubleDown story is one of the biggest success stories to come out of the social gaming world since the heyday of Zynga’s Farmville game.
This week’s report makes it perfectly clear that DoubleDown has snatched the social crown away from Zynga in a major way. EGR goes on to mention that IGT now owns around 14% of the total social gaming market.
DoubleDown’s phenomenal growth is all the more impressive given the company’s relatively small size and short history. The company has fewer than 80 employees and was founded in 2009. DD has built a huge online and mobile following by offering its entire social casino suite via a single app.

New Jersey gaming regulators will be passing on PokerStars’ attempts to break into the US online gambling market because of ongoing Black Friday-related litigation.
According to a recently published report in Poker Player Newspaper, NJ’s Division of Gaming Enforcement is reluctant to grant a license to the company because of an outstanding case against its founder, Ira Scheinberg.
Scheinberg is one of just two of the original ten Black Friday defendants whose cases remain unresolved. PokerStars was clearly hoping to do an end run around Scheinberg’s troubles by installing his son Mark in the company’s top slot.
Of course PokerStars also shelled out around $ 750 million to the Federal Government as part of their deal to purchase Full Tilt Poker.
That deal, however, doesn’t seem to matter much in the NJ where gambling industry trade groups have been fighting hard to make certain PokerStars’ parent company, the Rational Group, is frozen out of the market entirely.
The American Gaming Association (AGA) pursued some very aggressive legal tactics last summer to block Rational’s purchase of the floundering Atlantic Club Hotel and Casino. By the looks of things, those efforts have had a lasting impact in the Garden State.

http://www.casinoaffiliateebook.com/2013/11/07/end-contacting-gambling-affiliates-junkets/
Despite some uncertainty, there is no doubt we are on the cusp of a new frontier for online gambling in the United States. Yes, after years of skepticism, assumptions, and predictions, the U.S. regulated gaming markets are finally coming to fruition.
With this new frontier however is going to come new challenges for operators. Gone are the days of being able to launch marketing campaigns that blanket an entire country, or even multiple countries. Operators will need to make strategic marketing partnerships that ensure they are only targeting specific geographic areas.
As these new U.S. regulated markets continue to emerge, so will the competition amongst operators. Expect to see millions of dollars being initially spent on media buys and traditional marketing efforts. LetÂs hit a rewind button back to 2003-2005  . Once again, there will be a lot of Âdumb money spent on marketing by operators trying to outdo each other. The day will arrive however when operators realize the importance and overall efficiency of incorporating affiliate marketing into their efforts.
And to the defense of the existing online operators in the various land based / online operator relationships, most of these guys get it. The problem is, regulators donÂt.
What Is a Gambling Affiliate Versus a Gambling Junket Operator?
It concerns me that regulators are for lack of a better term, clueless, when it comes to affiliate marketing. It reminds me of being at a family gathering and having my 60 year old aunt who can barely figure out how to use email ask me, ÂSo what exactly do you do for a livingÂ?
For those not familiar with affiliate marketing, it can be a bit confusing, however itÂs not rocket science. Being a gambling affiliate for over ten years, I speak for many in the industry when I say; we would like to STOP being referred to by regulators as Âgambling junketsÂ. The comparison of a gaming affiliate to a gambling junket clearly expresses the need for regulators to be better educated on affiliate marketing.
What Is a Gambling Junket?
Historically gambling junkets have always been a way to bring land based casino players through the door. A junket operator has a list of casino players, and typically very close relationships with these players. A junket operator or ÂIndependent Agent will charter airlines and book accommodations for multiple customers. A casino junket operator is virtually an independent and remote casino VIP host.
The junket operator and casino typically have a very close relationship. Likewise, the junket operator is privy to each playerÂs gambling activities. The need for a junket operator to be licensed in these land based U.S. markets makes all the sense in the world. After all, they are chartering buses, planes, and visiting properties with their gambling clients.
What Is a Gambling Affiliate?
We are search engine optimizers, content writers, and web designers. But most importantly, we are Internet marketers who specialize in attracting visitors to our websites.
Through our skill sets we are able to effectively drive targeted traffic to our websites. We then present readers with useful content and information. The way we monetize our websites is through advertising. Whether it be putting up banner ads or perhaps writing online reviews, our goal is to get our traffic to click on our links, visit a gambling site, and become a customer. In return we will receive a CPA (Cost Per Acquisition) commission in the regulated U.S. market.
We have no relationships with our traffic or visitors, nor do we have any idea who these people even are. As affiliates, we promote online gambling destinations the same as we would if we were affiliates at Hotels.com promoting the Marriot in New Jersey. Given that analogy, should Hotels.com affiliates be required to get Hospitality licenses? Should affiliates who promote anything edible have to get licensure through the FDA?
Gaming affiliates simply just want to send new customers and earn commissions for our efforts. We have no personal relationships or knowledge of our referrals; the same as a highway billboard owner has no idea what traffic actually visits whom they are advertising.
So to any of the regulators reading this, does the definition of a gaming affiliate sound like a Âgambling junketÂ?
For years, online gaming operators from around the globe have consistently relied on affiliate marketers to deliver traffic to their websites. In fact, many of the largest operators (some entering the New Jersey market) boast that upwards of 30% of their traffic is delivered via affiliate marketers.
Regulators must understand that marketing in the world of online gaming is far different than that of a land based operation. Requiring individual affiliate marketers to apply for and receive some sort of permit, license, or ancillary service provider certificate is going to fail miserably and result in fewer players, and thus less tax revenue to their state.
Bottom line, most gambling affiliates could care less about ÂgamblingÂ, we simply are Internet marketers with virtual billboards on our websites, or content that directs unknown traffic to other websites.

The Inside of Scoop WSOP.com On The Move & The Current Hurdles to U.S. Operators
http://www.casinoaffiliateebook.com/2013/11/06/the-inside-of-scoop-%c2%96-wsop-com-on-the-move-the-current-hurdles-to-u-s-operators/Editor Note: Jeremy Enke is an industry veteran most well known for his publications as well as his industry accomplishments. Jeremy also leads the community at Poker Affiliate Listings. Jeremy writes a weekly feature for Poker Affiliate Solutions on the fast-moving developments in the regulated U.S. online poker market.
As the WSOP Main Event concludes this week in Las Vegas, all eyes on the business side of the poker industry are squarely focused on the ÂMain Event that is approaching in the regulated online gambling industry. With the regulated markets in New Jersey slated to open on November 26th, approved companies are beginning to finalize their launch plans ahead of the soft launch period.
Before we open up the ÂPandora’s Box known as the New Jersey regulated gambling market, letÂs take a closer look at the existing regulated markets.
Knock-Knock Ultimate Poker  .WhoÂs There? WSOP.com
Since the launch of WSOP.com in September, almost 3 ½ months after UltimatePoker.com, the brand has continued to see month over month growth. According to our friends over at PokerScout, WSOP.com has pulled to nearly a neck and neck market share position with Ultimate Poker. WSOP.com boasted 251 peak 24-hour players last week compared to UltimatePoker.com rounding out the week with 261.
I fully expect in the coming weeks to have a headline here at the Inside Scoop that reads something to the effect of ÂWSOP.com passes UltimatePoker.com in 24-hour peak players. The head of online poker at WSOP.com, Bill Rini, @BillRini has one of the brightest marketing minds in our industry. The Loyalty Match Promotion at WSOP.com targeting Ultimate Poker grinders is testament to that, and probably one reason the pendulum is swinging. Nice work WSOP!
The Insignificance of Delaware Going Live This Week
There, I said what everyone in the industry is thinking. One would think that when the 2nd state in the country goes live with regulated online gambling, and a full suite of gambling products nonetheless; it would be a significant event. That was hardly the case when Delaware opened its doors to real money online gambling this week.
The Delaware state Lottery Office chose Scientific Games International-888 Holdings as the primary vendor to provide a full suite of gambling products to its residents. The first problem with Delaware however is that the population is less than one million residents. ItÂs hard to see companies investing a great deal of money into such a small market.
The second problem with Delaware is that their tax structure, well, let me blunt, it sucks. While slot vendor fees in the state are only 7%, Internet vendor fees are in excess of 30%. Nevada and New Jersey are 10% and 15% respectively. Also in a clever money grab, Delaware declared that the first $ 3.75 million in iGaming revenue would go directly to the state. Moral of the story, Delaware is insignificant until poker compacts begin to take place, and even then they bring no real value to the table.
Over 25 Companies Receive Preliminary Thumbs-Up To Provide Ancillary Services
ItÂs not just land based casinos and existing operators looking to strike it rich off the new frontier of online gambling either. Over 25 Ânon operator companies were given the go ahead as Ancillary Casino Service Industry EnterpriseÂs (CSIEÂs) this past week as well. Some of these companies included geo-targeting organizations, marketing organizations, payment processors, and a host of others.
Ahh, yes, the question for affiliates reading the Inside Scoop, Will gambling affiliates be required to get a CSIE? That question remains unanswered from regulators. As mentioned in previous columns, it is my opinion that the sub-affiliate model would be extremely effective and create a win/win for everyone involved.
Gambling affiliates being compared to Âgambling junkets is complete nonsense in my opinion anyways. Although we canÂt share names, approved operators in New Jersey are already anticipating the ability to offer sub-affiliate deals and work with ÂMaster AffiliatesÂ. Watch closely for these type of deals to emerge in the coming weeks.
The Best Overall Resource for Gambling Affiliates Interested in The U.S. Regulated Markets
As mentioned earlier, the U.S. regulated gambling market is quite the ÂPandoraÂs BoxÂ. I am immersed in the market each and every day, and even I find myself scratching my head in uncertainty. Most affiliates I have spoken with confirm that with the amount of uncertainty and change, it is easier to take a Âwait and see approach until November 26th.While not a bad approach, it would be smart to stay moderately informed. So never fear, resources are here!
1. PAS Regulated U.S. Markets Page  Wink, Wink, Hint, Hint  ..PAS is aggressively working inside the U.S. market and is expected to be on the forefront of U.S. sub-affiliate offers. If youÂre even slightly considering working in this market in the coming months, IÂd get on the list here, and check back to the page often for more breaking news. Plus the Inside Scoop is published here, BONUS!
2. U.S. Online Gambling Industry Alerts on LinkedIn  This is a great group we put together that is growing every day. Any breaking or pertinent industry news with respect to the regulated U.S. markets will be posted in this group. If youÂre on Linkedin, this is a group youÂll want to be in.
Existing Hurdles For U.S. Regulated Operators
While the U.S. market will take a giant leap forward with the opening of New Jersey on November 26th, many hurdles remain in place.
Poker Liquidity Fear Leads to More Focus on Casinos  While all the talk has been about poker over the last few months, most operators are more focused on their casino offerings at the moment. In fact, we at the Inside Scoop have spoken with a few approved operators who will purposely be delaying their poker offering in favor of initially focusing on their casino efforts.
Unlike Nevada, New Jersey is expected to open with multiple poker platforms. Until a few brands break out as THE ÂGo-To poker rooms for New Jersey residents, liquidity will be an issue. Operators that have existing strong casino platforms are going to grow their market share in this segment of the market first.
Payment Processing –  One operator confirmed to the Inside Scoop that payment processing, and most importantly credit card processing continues to be one of the largest concerns for operators preparing for the November 26th launch into New Jersey.
Although regulated and legal in New Jersey, there is no law forcing credit card companies to accept transactions from iGaming clients. While services like Neteller and Skrill will eventually launch into the market, the preferred deposit option for casual players will always be credit or debit cards.
Geo-Location Issues  While companies like Locaid and others are very good at what they do, both regulators and operators are still concerned about initial glitches in the geo-location technology. With New Jersey bordering mega cities like New York and Philadelphia, there is no margin for error.
Likewise, geo-location to this scale and depth has never been attempted in the online gambling industry.
As you can see, the pump is primed, and the U.S. regulated markets are getting ready to further take off. This is truly an unprecedented time for online gambling in the United States. So buckle-up, and prepare for takeoff, the countdown has started. Will we experience turbulence on this adventurous ride? Only time will tell.
ÂNobody knows how things will turn out, that’s why they go ahead and play the game…You give it your all and sometimes amazing things happen, but it’s hardly ever what you expect.

Chris Moneymaker
Chris Moneymaker, 2003 WSOP Champion
Chris Moneymaker launched the Texas Hold ‘Em boom back in 2003 when he went from online tournament buy-in guy to bracelet-holding World Series of Poker (WSOP) champion.
His feat inspired boatloads of online players to up their game and make a serious run at the money. In doing so, they lined the pockets of plenty of poker affiliates and operators.
Success on the poker tables didn’t carry over to Moneymaker’s personal life and, by 2004, his first wife had moved on. She wasn’t interested in being married to poker player and he wasn’t interested in going back to his old life as an accountant.
Moneymaker is still playing poker and currently lives in Las Vegas with his second wife.

Google’s Mysterious Barges Appear in Both Coasts
A mysterious floating building was sighted in the coast of San Francisco Bay. Another one was spotted just off the coast of Portland, Maine. Could it be an ark for the end of times? Could it be a floating building from the tsunami? Is it a giant floating Apple store? Or could it be Google’s new data center?
Who is building the floating building?
Locals scratched their heads and refer to the four-story construction on a floating barge as a secret project. If people can make stories about a floating log, they can make up stories about a four-story floating building. However, now it is almost certain that the barge is linked to Google. Google refused to comment on the matter, but documents obtained from the Coast Guard confirm Google, Turner and Cianbro Corp.’s fingerprints all over the floating building.
What is the purpose of the building?
Some say it could be a floating Google data center because in 2009, Google was granted a patent for a water-based data center. The patent describes a data center on a ship that is perpetually powered by ocean currents. It uses sea water to cool the servers.
It could also be a Google Glass store. Apparently, Google wants to build a store without looking like it is ripping off Apple, so why not make a floating store, right? CNET reports that an anonymous source said Google plans to float the Glass stores from city to city by rivers. It could be a bit odd but anything is possible with Google.

November 2013 is a big month for the online gambling industry with regulated igaming going online in New Jersey and Delaware. Elsewhere, gaming figures are finding new and innovative ways to meet up with law enforcement, and Shel Adelson revealed his less-than-snuggly feeling about Iran.
Satoshi Live – Satoshi Live is bringing popular live betting features to the frontier of Biotcoin gambling. The site is also offering beefed up online security for crypto-currency gamblers.
WSOP.com Launch – Nevada’s second legal online poker site got off to a rough start when players reported big trouble making deposits. That’s hardly the kind of headlines the Nevada casino industry was looking for when they launched regulated igaming.
Is Poker a Good Career Choice? – Thinking of skipping out on college to chase your dream of playing poker professionally? We won’t stop you, but you might want to read this article before signing a lease in Las Vegas.
Delaware iGaming Launch – Delaware’s legal online gambling, which include full casino suites, launched with relatively little fanfare. Given the state’s miniscule population, interstate gambling is definitely part of their plan.
Cantor Gaming Boss Under Investigation – Cantor Gaming top dog Lee Amaitis is under investigation for taking illegal sports bets. Nevada regulators are investigating, too and things don’t look so hot for Cantor.
Bodog Asia Crime Spree – Not to be outdone by Cantor, a trio of Bodog Asia employees are under investigation for a crime spree that’s right out of a Quentin Tarantino movie and included everything from auto theft to document forging.
Betsson International Expansion – Betsson has long had lock on the Nordic market and are now looking to expand deeper into Europe and are even taking a crack at China.
Full Tilt Claims at Just 2% – Only about 2% of parties eligible for Full Tilt Poker payouts from the US Government had filed claims as of the first week of October. What the Feds will do with all that extra cash is anyone’s guess.
Shel Adelson Speaks – Shel Adelson is no friend of online gambling, and he’s not so crazy about Iran either. In a recent interview he suggested that the US drop an atomic bomb in the Iranian desert to curtail the country’s fledgling nuclear program. Uh, thanks Shel, we’ll take that under advisement…

http://www.casinoaffiliateebook.com/2013/11/04/online-casino-news-roundup-november/Delaware (Delicate) Launches Online On line casino Gambling
Regulated online casino gaming in Delaware is inching closer to its official, November 8, launch date after entering a soft launch phase late last week.
As part of the soft launch, which is really just an extended beta testing period, between 25-75 players who had already signed up for the free-to-play version will be putting the system though the works.
Delaware is the first US state to offer a full suite of casino games as part of their regulated offerings, but won’t be rolling out a complete slate of games just yet. As of this writing, only poker and slots are expected to be part of the test, though blackjack and roulette will be added at a later date.
(Though Delaware does offer some forms of legal sports betting at casinos, online sports betting will not be offered at this time.)
The casino industry in Delaware has been hit hard by competition from neighboring states, especially Pennsylvania, as well as an aging customer base. Over the past three years, their revenue has slid by almost 28%.
State officials are hoping that regulated igaming will draw in younger players and, of course, help halt sliding revenues.

New Jersey gaming regulators have been very busy as they gear up for the launch of regulated Garden State igaming later month.
This week they granted preliminary approval to 54 companies that are looking to function as either Ancillary Casino Service Industry Enterprises (CSIE) and Internet Gaming Related Vendor Registrants.
CSIE’s are companies that are anticipated to have direct contact with players and include geolocation specialists like Locaid and Player Verify. Because of their frontline status, these companies are held to a slightly higher licensing standard than the 42 Internet Gaming Related Vendor Registrants.
The list of Internet Gaming Related Vendor Registrants is populated by a lot of payment processing companies like Skrill and PaySafeCard.com. Because players will have, presumably, been age-verified by the time they get to the depositing stage, obtaining permission to work as a vendor is a bit easier than other licensing standards.
New Jersey has set November 26 as the launch date for regulated online casino gambling.
The Garden state is counting on igaming to help boost the floundering fortunes of their Atlantic City casinos and is also hoping to become a national player in the American iGaming market.
