William Hill’s mobile portfolio has a bit more beef in it after the company recently completed a deal with Micrograming.
Under the terms of the arrangement, William Hill be providing Microgaming’s Quickfire gaming platform. Quickfire is a flash-based mobile-friendly online casino gaming platform that includes sports betting, bingo and table games.
In a press release, William Hill Director of Gaming, James Curwen crowed about the advantages of the deal:
The agreement with Quickfire, powered by Microgaming, will provide our players with world-class gaming content. Microgamingâs expertise in the industry and its rapid development of new content will strengthen our position globally; we look forward to working with them closely.
William Hill went live with the new platform on July 17, but didn’t make a formal announcement until today.
It’s been a busy year for William Hill as the company has been moving aggressively to shore up its position in the worldwide gaming market.
After purchasing back a big chunk of William Hill Online from Playtech, its partner in the online venture, the UK wagering giant is putting a lot of effort into improving its online and mobile offerings.
