http://www.casinoaffiliateebook.com/2013/05/30/carbon-poker-25-free-bankroll-pas-exclusive/
PAS is pleased to introduce an exclusive Carbon Poker “instant” bankroll bonus offer for new U.S. and Canadian players who sign-up and deposit during the month of June. In addition to receiving a $ 25 free bankroll to play with, players can also receive the normal 200% up to $ 5,000 deposit bonus when using bonus code CARBONPK on the same deposit.
This bankroll will be credited to accounts within 24 hours of the first deposit. The extra funds can be played at all online poker games but can not be withdrawn until meeting the requirements. The bankroll can not be used for casino play. To withdraw the free $ 25, players must accumulate 1,000 VIP Points before a withdrawal is made. Any withdrawal before this period will void the $ 25 free.
This bankroll presents a great opportunity to provide your members extra value during June at Carbon Poker. While this bankroll is not a no deposit offer, the conversion rate for an instant deposit bonus is much higher vs a standard deposit offer for many new and recreational players. If you promote Carbon Poker, we recommend marketing this offer aggressively next month.

Gambling Ads Crackdown in Australia: Football Shirts to be Pulled
Binary Alternatives Updates: Cyprus Bailout & Post-Penguin two. Advertising
Binary options allow traders to profit, when they predict correctly if a stock/currency/commodity will go up or down. The timeframe for the prediction varies, often from 60 seconds to one week. That makes for a lot of fun and fast-paced action! Binary options, and binary options affiliate marketing, are proving to be the ânext big thingâ in the world of monetary gaming. Thatâs why wise affiliates are coming on board now and to grab a piece of the action.
However, there are both external opportunities and threats, and both internal strengths and weaknesses to consider, in order to run successful binary options sites.
The Trust Factor: Binary Options Companies in Cyprus
Since entering the EU, Cyprus has been growing fast as a financial center. On an island of 1.2 million people, 80 licenses (binary options, forex, CFD brokers) employ an estimated 5,000 people. That doesm’t keep into consideration all the companies offering ancillary services (marketing, IT development, etc.).
Cyprus is also a popular hub to setup companies to invest abroad. For example, Russian business-people have been using banks in Cyprus. The European Union, seeing the wide gap between the financial exposure of banks to Greek investments and the economy of Cyprus, asked Cyprus to apply a âhaircutâ to its bank accounts. The fact that Cyprus is seeing as a tax-haven for German and Nordic business-people may not have helped.
After several changes in guidelines, the decision set on âtaxingâ high-worth bank accounts. How did CySec (the governmental organisation in charge of licenses financial companies), the Central Bank of Cyprus and binary options/forex companies deal with this situation? They did pretty well.
Some operators already had their funds hold in escrow accounts, often abroad. Even for bank accounts in Cyprus, money held on behalf of other people is kept in escrow, while companiesâ bank accounts (used to pay salaries, profits, etc.) are secluded from tradersâ funds. Several operators reassured their clients that shaving on their accounts were unlikely, and that even if that would have happened, the Companies would have covered the difference with their own funds.
CySec and the Central Bank of Cyprus worked together with binary options and forex companies, to clarify the situation. The Central Bank did allow the transfer of funds from local banks to foreign beneficiaries, as long as some documentation was filled to prove the transactions were genuine, and not meant to hire assets abroad.
A few operators didn’t really care and went silent. These were the exceptions to the overall well-behaved industry. Traders and affiliates can draw their own conclusions and, based on how operators behaved, decide which businesses they want to patron and which ones are better left behind.
Binary Options, Affiliate marketing, and Traffic Monetization, Post-Penguin 2.0
What do the Cyprus bailout and the new Google Penguin update mean to you as an affiliate? The golden rule applies: diversify your investment and revenue streams. Select some key binary options operators, based in Cyprus, and promote them. Look around for other jurisdictions as well, to geo-diversify your portfolio. Malta does have licensed binary options companies, and there are UK regulate forex companies.
Recommended binary options brokers
Second, keep the interest of your readers/traders in mind. Work only with companies you can trust to pay you and your traders. When you promote a binary options brand, you’re putting your reputation on the line. Choose companies that are prompt in answering questions, from you and your traders. Especially when the situation gets tough. Delays do happen, and among many happy moments trading on a site, there may also be times of uncertainty. Make sure you work with companies which can be reached easily and are honest in their feedback.
Third, try small trades yourself. The more you know about the services you are promoting, the more effective your content and conversion are. Do not assume all traders have the same motivations, behaviours and opinions you have. Some surely will share your views and approaches. So cater to them when you write your honest reviews and keep your site fresh. Some reasons why traders like binary options include:
- They have no hidden fees. This is quite a strong selling-point, compared to over investment opportunities where banks etc. take more than half of oneâs profits in fees, some easy to calculate and some more arcane
- Return on investment, or loss, are transparent. With the exception of AAA bonds, very few investment options allow to know exactly the upside and downside of the investment
- Instant gratification. Instead of waiting months or years, binary options deliver their results in as little at 60 seconds
Fourth, do not take shortcuts with SEO. Especially with Google. Build at least two clean, authority sites about binary options. You can narrow the focus, for example one site can be about binary options for commodities, and one for stocks or currencies. Remember to write quality reviews, meant to be read by traders and not only by Google Bot. Update your site at least once per day, there are always fresh news relevant to binary traders! Thatâs the best part of binary options and forex: to affiliates, they often bring the margins offered by casino marketing, with the advantage of having an endless, fresh source of updates like in sports-betting. You really get the best of two worlds here. Do facilitate incoming links, but not from generic directories, but from other content sites.
Binary options are growing very fast and are very rewarding for the affiliates who are wisely investing their time and resources.

For our U.S. publishers, we hope you have a wonderful Memorial Working day weekend. Please notice support response could be a little bit slower than standard above the weekend and Monday due to the fact of this holiday getaway.
Carbon Poker Reintroduces Live Chat, Rake Race Promo Raises to $50,000
http://www.casinoaffiliateebook.com/2013/05/24/carbon-poker-reintroduces-live-chat-rake-race-promo-raises-to-50000/With the summer ready to heat up, the Merge Network’s Carbon Poker and Aced are revealing some changes that should be welcomed by players on both sites — the reintroduction of a new chat feature, an increase of the Rake Race to $ 50k and a declaration that cashouts should improve during the summer.
Live Chat
The live chat at Carbon Poker and Aced has been down for some time, forcing players to contact support live email to get their issues resolved. A Carbon Poker rep has informed us that this feature has recently been readded and is now accessible by existing new players from the cashier and the sign-up screen for new players. Players can contact support via live chat for any matter, although during certain times poker agents will not be available. They will be instructed to contact support via email or try again later.
$ 50,000 Rake Race
Carbon Poker is mixing things up this June with a brand new Rake Race. Instead of an exclusive $ 10,000 prize pool, Carbon and Aced are increasing the prize pool and making the race available to all players. Full details will be posted on the Carbon Poker promotion page shortly. This promotion change is expected to be temporary.
Cashouts
If you have been following our monthly cashout report, you will have noticed that US cashouts have slowed of late, with an average cashout time of around 10 weeks. When PAS asked a Carbon Poker representative of where cashout times were headed over the next few months they stated that timeframes should be improving over the summer. It should be noted that while U.S. cashouts remain slower, non-US cashouts are being processed within 2 weeks.

Calvin Ayre – Wanted Man
Calvin Ayre is a Very Bad Boy
It’s safe to assume that somewhere in the US Department of Justice there’s more than one employee who dreams of the day Bodog founder Calvin Ayre sitting in a prison cell. After all, he thumbed his nose at the DOH in a very public way by taking US action and just not giving a damn about it one way or the other.
Unfortunately for these dark dreamers, Ayre is one of the slipperiest people ever to wear a Seville Row suit.
After being indicted last year on money laundering and gambling charges, Ayre just shrugged shoulders and continued drinking whiskey with super models. (Someone’s got to do it we suppose.)
One day we might see an, “Ayre Arrested,” headline but that won’t be anytime soon.

Ladbrokes Set for Layoffs
Ladbrokes is getting ready to lay off as many as 100 employees as operations shift towards its new Tel Aviv operation. Itâs all part of an ongoing restructuring that could last for some time.
Meta Description: Ladbrokes is set to lay off as many as 100 employees as the companyâs focus shifts to its Tel Aviv operation.
London-based Ladbrokes employees are sweating bullets today after the company announced it will be laying off as many as 100 employees. The move comes as the company points its focus more towards its Tel Aviv operations.
According to a report in EGR the move has been in the works behind the scenes for some time as part of the companyâs big picture restructuring. The shift to Tel Aviv will focused on the company formerly known as The Nation Traffic, which is now known as Ladbroke Israel.
In a statement to the press, company officials said that the move was necessary, â…in order to maximise the potential,â of their newest subsidiary. Of course that potential will be cold comfort to the employees who, â…have been placed at risk of redundancy.â
The specter of layoffs isnât too surprising given Ladbrokesâ Q1 results, which were less than spectacular. For the first part of the year, company profits were down a whopping 28.9% and company officials didnât seem overly enthusiastic about future prospects.
2013 has definitely been an up and down year for Ladbrokes. Sports betting revenues are up 13.2%, but casino gaming is down 11.4%.
What do you think about Ladbrokes redundancies and restructuring? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.

5 Best Companies to Work for in iGaming
William Hill Online
One of the UK’s biggest bookmakers offers up a tons of positions across the globe doing everything from answering phones in a call center to being an Italian language SEO specialist.
Like most online gambling companies, William Hill has offices all over the world including Tel Aviv, Leeds, and Manilla. With a company culture that emphasizes internal promotion, you might just get a chance to work at any one of these exotic locations. (Hey, Leeds is exotic to someone who has never been there!)
William Hill is a big company and some online critics claim that it’s too bureaucratic (though that could be the case anywhere). On the other hand, plenty of employees are very happy with the company’s generous bonus programs.

May US Online Poker Payment Processing Report
http://www.casinoaffiliateebook.com/2013/05/17/may-us-online-poker-payment-processing-report/There was little in the way of movement between May and last monthÂs report. Some of the slowest paying networks had the most movement, all going the wrong direction. Last monthÂs grades are in parenthesis.
Bodog/Bovada A (A+)
Bovada, the US facing skin on the Bodog Poker Network, maintains the top spot again this month. Their times slipped slightly but are certainly impressive considering the overall US payment processing environment. Players can expect a check for up to $ 3,000 to arrive in 1-2 weeks. Bank wires are available for up to $ 5,000 and arrive in about one month. Players may receive a free withdrawal using one of these options each month. Additional cashout requests incur a $ 50 fee.
Cash transfers arrive in 2-3 days with the following fees:
Money Transfer/WU
 $ 100 – $ 200 Fee: $ 40
 $ 201 – $ 500 Fee: $ 50
 $ 501 – $ 1000 Fee: $ 80
 $ 1001 – $ 2000 Fee: $ 150Rapid Transfer/MG
 $ 100 – $ 200 Fee: $ 20
 $ 201 – $ 400 Fee: $ 30
 $ 401 – $ 600 Fee: $ 45
 $ 601 – $ 800 Fee: $ 60Winning Poker Network A- (A-)
Americas Cardroom, Black Chip Poker and True Poker maintain last monthÂs grade. Players may request a check, debit card transfer or cash transfer. Checks arrive in 1-2 weeks and carry a $ 65 fee. The first check each month is free. Debit cards require a $ 25 initial fee and $ 4.95 with each cashout request. There are also fees to use the card to withdraw cash at ATMs. Debit card withdrawal requests are processed in 2-5 days. Cash transfers also take 2-5 days to process and carry the following fees:
 $ 100 – $ 299 Fee: $ 60
 $ 300 – $ 499 Fee: $ 70
 $ 500 – $ 749 Fee: $ 85
 $ 750 – $ 999 Fee: $ 95
 $ 1,000 – $ 1,500 Fee: $ 110Intertops A- (A-)
Intertops maintained their impressive cashout speeds again this month. While fast, Intertops charges a premium for this service. The Revolution Gaming skin also does not accept new US players.
Intertops players may cashout up to $ 3,000 by check and receive it in about one week. Bank wires may be requested for up to $ 2,500. These arrive in 2-3 weeks. Both options carry a $ 50 fee.
Cash transfers arrive in about two days and carry the following fees:
 $ 150-$ 500 Fee: $ 70
 $ 501-$ 1,000 Fee: $ 85
 $ 1,001-$ 2,000 Fee: $ 180Jazette/Carbon Poker/Aced C- (C-)
Merge Gaming skins Jazette, Carbon Poker and Aced are struggling with their check processing. Most player reports have been in the 10 week range. Players may request up to $ 2,500. Requests made after the initial one will be added to the pending request as long as the cumulative amount is $ 2,500 or less. This feature is the only reason this group is not in the D range yet.
Lock Poker D- (D)
Lock Poker, flagship of the Revolution Gaming Network, has been in the news every week with another scandal. The news has quieted down and some players are once again receiving their cashouts. Unfortunately, cash transfers are being processed in 8-12 weeks. Checks are reportedly in the 5-6 month range. Both options are free. Players outside the US are waiting 1-2 months for their Neteller and Skrill cashouts. That is more alarming than the slow US cashouts.
Juicy Stakes D- (D-)
Juicy Stakes is also a Revolution Gaming skin. It is one month away from receiving an F. I have never given an online poker room an F as long as they were still processing cashouts. Juicy Stakes is on the verge of doing just that. One player reported waiting seven months for a check, only to have it bounce. Others are also reporting 6-7 month check cashouts. This is dangerously close to nonpayment. There is no fee for a check from Juicy Stakes.
All of these online poker rooms may be found at RakeTracker, sister site of PAS.

True Poker Added as PAS Cashout Method
http://www.casinoaffiliateebook.com/2013/05/10/true-poker-added-as-pas-cashout-method/Just a quick note for those looking for another option for their PAS cashouts. Over the last week, True Poker player transfers have been added as a cashout option for PAS publishers and members. Player transfers are typically the fastest cashout methods through PAS.
Please note that funds transferred to your True Poker account are meant to be played at the poker room. Because of this, there may be restrictions imposed for withdrawal of funds that are received through player to player transfers from us to you.
True Poker is a Winning Poker Network poker room offering games to both US and non-US players. They typically have some of the fastest player cashouts in the industry. PAS offers 27% rakeback and a 100% up to $ 1,000 sign-up bonus to players.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Online Gambling Firsts
First Online Sportsbook
Mosaic, the first web browser launched on April 22, 1993 and, effectively, launched the World Wide Web as we know it today.
On January 17, 1996, Intertops launched the online sports betting business when they accepted the first online sports wager.
Of course a lot has changed over the least 17 years. Today there are hundreds of online sports betting sites doing billions of dollars in business across the planet and plenty of big markets (the United States and China) remain relatively untapped.
Intertops is still in business and, if there’s any justice in the world, the person who said, “We should let people place bets online,” is comfortably ensconced in a massive corner office at the Intertops headquarters.

PokerStars’ New Jersey Deal Not Done Yet
PokerStars’ troubled bid to purchase the Atlantic Club Casino may not be dead just yet. Yesterday afternoon a New Jersey judge granted a temporary restraining order keeping the casino owners, Colony Capital, from pulling out of the deal.
After PokerStars missed a licensing deadline last week, Colony backed away from the $ 15-$ 20 million deal. That left PokerStars not only on the hook for the $ 11 million they’d already sunk into the dilapidated property, it also left them without a toehold in the potentially lucrative Jersey online gaming market.
While New Jersey lawmakers welcome anyone who’s willing to help restore Atlantic City, the American Gaming Association (AGA) was openly hostile to the deal.
PokerStars earns the AGA’s ire for doing business with Americans after the Federal government banned online gambling back in 2006. In a highly unusual move, AGA lawyers filed a brief aimed at blocking the Atlantic Club purchase and accusing the poker giant of engaging in, “criminal activities.”
In a statement released yesterday Rational Group, PokerStars’ corporate parent, said:
The Rational Group remains entirely committed to resolving this situation, and to its investment in New Jersey, while it continues to diligently work on completing the required licensing process.
Besides the investment they’ve already made in New Jersey, the Garden State represents PokerStars’ best shot at cracking the US market. It’s generally assumed that the company’s post-2006 activities could make getting a gaming license in Nevada difficult.
Expect this battle to drag on for the foreseeable future.

Delaware Selects Online Gambling Providers
888, Williams Interactive and Scientific Games will be providing the State of Delaware with online gambling software and services.
The trio submitted a joint bid in February and quickly got the nod, beating out 13 other bids. The team bid built on each company’s core competencies in the hopes of freezing out the competition.
As the current provider of Delaware’s lottery terminals, Scientific Games definitely had an edge the bid process. Williams and 888 will be providing the poker products.
Delaware lawmakers put their stamp of approval online gambling last July, becoming the second state after Nevada to do so.
Both states have relatively small populations, Delaware sits at less than a million, and there’s been talk of an interstate agreement between them. As it stands today, Delaware’s online gambling laws do not allow for such agreements.
How big a difference a two-state compact would make remains to be seen. Between them, Nevada and Delaware have a population of less than four million. Nearby New Jersey, on the other hand, has nine million on its own. When it comes to keeping virtual poker tables filled, those numbers are pretty significant.
As its written, Delaware’s online gambling legislation allow for tables games, scratch cards and something no other state will have anytime soon, sports betting.
Remember, Delaware is one of the four states that were grandfathered into legal sports betting under the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA) of 1992. That means Delaware residents should be able to play the state’s popular NFL parlay wagering games online.
Do you think Delaware will have much impact on the US online gambling market? Share you thoughts in the comments section below.

Online Gambling News Roundup: April 2013
The online gambling industry kept things exciting in April with plenty of big news stories. Here’s a few of the igaming headlines that really mattered last month.
Nevada Launches US Online Poker
After months of discussion, licensing hearing and industry chatter, Ultimate Poker launched America’s first, legal, online poker site.
Though some critics say Nevada’s sparse population can’t support online poker, Ultimate Poker’s owners (who also own a chunk of the Station Casinos and manage the UFC) are feeling confident.
It’s one small step for Nevada and one giant leap for the American gambling industry.
Online poker’s most wanted man, former Full Tilt Poker CEO Ray Bitar, ended his long legal saga by entering a guilty plea on several felony charges.
Bitar’s poor health, and need for a heart transplant, influenced the court to show some mercy and allow him to take a plea. He’ll walk away a free man, though he’ll be $ 40 million in cash and properties lighter – and could be dead in a year without a new heart.
California Talks Sports Betting
Golden State horse racing establishments are looking to get on the legal sports betting bandwagon, they just don’t want to do any of the heavy lifting.
A bill introduced this month in the California state legislature would clear the way for horse racing tracks to offer sports wagering, should the national ban ever be lifted.
Just to be clear, California lawmakers have no interest in actually fighting the sports betting ban themselves, they just want to be ready to take advantage of the work done by New Jersey lawyers.
Speaking of New Jersey
A different kind of legal fight in the Garden State gambling world between the American Gaming Association and PokerStars took an interesting turn at the end of the month.
It looks as though Pokerstars is backing off its attempt at purchasing the Atlantic Club Casino in Atlantic City. The move would have put the poker giant square in the middle of the US market, but AGA lawyers cried, “foul,” citing the company’s sketchy post-Black Friday record.
Pokerstars missed an important licensing deadline on April 30, leaving gambling industry watchers wondering if the poker giant’s American dreams were dead in the water.
Nevada Eyes Sports Betting Expansion
In Nevada, State legislators voted to expand sports betting to equity groups and syndicates. This move won’t impact everyday punters, but could have a big impact on some big money players.
If betting syndicates can operate openly in legal Nevada sportsbooks, they might not spread their bets across online betting sites.
That said, there’s no telling how many syndicates, or equity groups, will be interested in going through the stringent Nevada licensing process required for registered entities.
More than anything, this story shows how Nevada is looking to expand and shore up their sports betting market, just in case New Jersey wins its fight to overturn the Federal sports betting ban.
